After the show was over, she appeared in the ABC crime series "Castle in the role of Julie Rogers. She followed this with a film debut at Hallmark Channel in Chance at romantic comedy directed by Bradford May.

Debi Mazar plays an American actress who is known for playing sharp-tongued women in various film and TV shows. Before making it to Hollywood her career, she was employed on a range of different jobs. Debi had worked as a dancer, model and hair stylist. Additionally, she was an established downtown celebrity. She was introduced to Madonna in her work as a makeup artist. The two became good friends and was offered the chance to appear in the videos. Debis New York accent, arched eyebrows and prominent New York accent made her an ideal choice for strong and imposing characters. They proved extremely useful in her portrayals of characters for Civil Wars L.A. Law and Entourage.
