She was playing the character Peg in a role of support in the Spanish American comedy for teens Out of the Blue (from 1995-1996). Burns made her debut on television in 1995 when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later starred in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action series. Burns left Baywatch due to the first pregnancy she had.
